Wow we had such a great time in NYC, God moved in so many ways. One of the main thing our youth group experienced was a miraculous sense of "one"-ness. For those of you who missed it, our "sister" church in Troy, Embassy Covenant, joined us in New York. Their youth group combined with ours making us all a "Peculiar Young People" with a goal, mission or motto to "Accomplish the Master's Plan." This change has united all of our youth and in turn brought us all closer together.

Recently Bishop Smith assigned us a "report" which is due on Tuesday, August 11th for Embassy Youth, and Wednesday August 12th for Emmanuel teens. In case you forgot, Bishop asked us to answer the following questions in a report or essay format:
1. What is the average family income of the people who live in the Bronx, Manhattan and Harlem?
2. How many liquor stores did you see in Harlem vs Manhattan?
3. Who were some of the first people involved in gang violence in
New York City?
4. What are some of the opportunities that exist for everybody in New York?
5. How many
homeless people did you see and why do you think they are in that condition?

I think Bishop Smith will be looking for your answers about the Embassy/Emmanuel person you connected with as well...

Okay so that's about it...have a blessed week and be productive!!!

Living for Christ & Loving it!
